The Journal of Innovations in Digital Humanities Research and Practice is a peer-reviewed journal that provides a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to showcase their innovative and interdisciplinary research in the field of digital humanities. The journal welcomes original research articles, case studies, and reviews that explore the use of digital tools, technologies, and methods in humanities research and pedagogy. Authors are encouraged to submit original research that advances the field of digital humanities and provides insights into the opportunities and challenges of using digital technologies and methods in humanities research and teaching. The journal welcomes submissions from scholars, researchers, and practitioners from a range of disciplines and backgrounds.

3. Survey/Review articles, providing a comprehensive review on a scientific topic
4. Fast Communications: Short, self-contained articles on ongoing research, or reporting interesting, possibly tentative, ideas, or comments on previously published research

- Text mining, natural language processing, and machine learning in humanities research
- Ethics, sustainability, and social responsibility in digital humanities research and practice
